 1. Overview

At FinFlo, we respect your right to privacy and your control over your personal data. This Account Deletion Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for permanently deleting your FinFlo digital wallet account.


2. Pre-Deletion Requirements

Before you request account deletion, please ensure the following steps are completed to avoid loss of funds or interruption of services:

Zero Balance: Ensure that your FinFlo wallet balance is 0. You must withdraw or transfer all funds to another bank account or mobile money wallet before submitting a deletion request.

Pending Transactions: Ensure there are no pending transactions, disputes, or active chargebacks associated with your account.

3. How to Request Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time. We offer two methods for submitting your request:

Via Email: Send a request from the email address registered to your FinFlo account to finfloug@gmail.com.

Via Phone: Call our support team at +256709728806.


4. Verification Process

For your security and to prevent unauthorized deletion, we will verify your identity before processing the request.

Email Requests: You must send the email from the verified email address linked to your FinFlo account. The subject line should read: "Request to Delete Account - [Your Registered Phone Number]".

Phone Requests: You will be required to answer security questions or provide verification details (such as your registered PIN or OTP) to confirm that you are the account holder.

 5. Processing Time

Once your identity is verified and your request is received:
We will process the deletion request within [Insert Number, e.g., 5 to 10] business days.
You will receive a confirmation via email or SMS once your account has been successfully deleted.


 6. What Happens After Deletion

Upon the successful deletion of your FinFlo account:

Loss of Access: You will immediately lose access to the FinFlo app and all associated services.

Data Removal: Your personal data, including transaction history and KYC details, will be permanently deleted from our active servers.

Restoration: You will not be able to recover your account or retrieve any transaction history once the deletion is complete.


7. Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that even after deletion, FinFlo may retain certain information if required by applicable laws, court orders, or for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering records). This data will be stored securely and will not be used for active marketing purposes.
